BEAUTIFUL BROOME

At the end of November, beginning of December Clint suprised me with a 2 night getaway to Broome! We definately enjoyed our little break, although it was stinkin' hot and humid! We would love to go back one day after the wet season as I can imagine it would be a little nicer and not so much dry red dirt everywhere!

Sunset at Cable Beach

Cable beach really is quite impressive, goes on forever and has huge tides. When the tides are out there are little crabs everywhere that leave little balls of sand behind when they dig. The jetty was at low tide when we saw it, amazing how high it is! The big boat is the cruise boat that goes through the Kimberly's. As it was off season it was 'parked in town'. They drive it up through the mangroves at high tide and then anchor it down.

Last night enjoying a cocktail... or 2 with a beautiful sunset! The next day we took a drive around to kill sometime before going to the airport. The beach has amazing red rocks on there, a beautiful setting against the blue sea.

NOVEMBER

Sorry for the slow updates! Since we got a new computer I always get an error code up when I blog, something about a script error. It's quite a pain and makes blogging a little less enjoyable... but I think I'm working out ways to get around it! :)

Some November happenings...

Tahnee enjoyed having the beaters all to herself while Rhylan was at church...
The kids finally started to show some affection toward eachother, usually when they have to say 'goodnight!'...
Baking with Rhylan, which he loves and is easier to do while Tahnee is in bed!!

I got my sewing machine out and made the kids some little aprons to wear when they help me bake. So suprised how easy it was! Tahnee wasn't too keen on modelling hers, then she got caught out trying to sneak a biscuit!

A fun morning at the beach with Lieschen, Karli and Brenton...

I tried to be one of those 'good mum's' and bought the kids some paint... but while I was on the phone they did some artwork on the walls outside! Finding them sort of hiding and looking really guilty but not realising what they had done I set them up inside with the paint and paper.... let me just say it didn't last long and the paint won't be coming out again for a long time!!


Tahnee spent a day on the couch watching dvds as she was sick with a horrible rash and fevers. Thankfully by the next day she was back to her normal self.... Which in Tahnee's case is running around in my heels/ shoes or being a monkey!

OCTOBER!

October was a special month as it started with Rhylan's birthday!

Wow, the little man is 4 already! He got really spoilt and had a really fun day! The morning was spent at Uncle Mars' birthday and then at night we had the Wells' over!

He got a new bike which he mastered right away, even though it only has handlebar brakes!

We thank God for caring for him in the past year and also that he may bless him in the coming year, an exciting year ahead as he starts kindy!

October also saw us....

Having fun at home, playing outside, feeding dolly, sleeping in funny ways and tiring dad out!!!....

We also enjoyed a great day out in the boat to Garden Island with Troy and Morgan....

and having lots of fun on the bikes!!
